Bald Peak State Park

The Sunday before the Jaguar Jog (Sept 28), we went up to Bald Peak State Park. This park is about 10 minutes away from our house, and has picnic areas and parking. We discovered too late that it had hiking trails too. As we caught the sunset we decided not to try exploring the trails.

This was a fun outing, not too long, but taking advantage of the last of the summer light. It started to get brisk up there, and we were all glad to have our jackets. Check out our photos!

I love this park. It is a great place to watch the moon rise.
