The Pumpkin Patch

Hooray for pumpkins! I just love a holiday time where you get to play with huge orange veggies! I've always associated Halloween with my birthday, after all they are close.

We got into the spirit this Saturday with selecting pumpkins, going through a corn maze, observing various farmyard animals, and playing on hay bales. The weather was awesome- clear blue sky, highs in thee 60s, and everyone in high spirits.

Check out our photos of that, if you dare! But seriously, there's nothing scary here.

The Art Harvest Tour ended Sunday eve. We'll have to wait for 2009. I met wonderful artists, but in one Saturday there's not nearly enough time to get to all those places. I wanted to stop at your house, but never made it. Sounds like you were having your own fun anyway. Good for you all.
I'll let you know next year when it comes around again. jeanne/mom
